filepp software package provides A generic perl-based file pre-processor, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install filepp
filepp is installed in your system.
Make ensure the filepp package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep filepp *
You will get with filepp package name, version, architecture and description in a table
